Seth Lane is back in action...

When Seth is called to investigate a case against a high profile boxing champion he knows that he's in for a challenge. If the chance of high publicity isn't enough to keep him on his toes, the road blocks that get put his way certainly will.

As he navigates his way through the case, he's determined to detect the truth, and his faithful wife, Zee, once again helps him in the only way she knows how—even after she meets his new partner.

Balancing his home and work life has never been harder. Seth is on the hunt for the perpetrator while still trying to make his wife a priority.

And when the DNA comes back, it's the biggest twist he's ever seen in his career...

MY REVIEW

I fell in love with sexy Seth Lane and his beautiful wife, Zee, when an amazingly sweet woman named Pam gifted me a copy of Detecting Lust: an erotic detective novel (Sin). Seth was a charming and dedicated detective with the SVU and had a special way of putting victims at ease and finding them justice. Zee was his muse and unknowingly helped her husband put the unconnected pieces of the case together.

In Detecting Envy, the case involved a victim of date rape and the suspect was a renowned championship boxer. Seth was determined to solve the case and provide the victim with closure, despite the perp's notoriety.

Again, this was a wonderfully lustful dip into the eternal love pond of Seth and Zee. Their marriage was stronger than ever and I admired how united they were regardless of Ashley's machinations to have Seth. Thankfully she finally learned about his wife (that omission pissed me off in the last book) and understood that she stood ABSOLUTELY no chance! Honestly, I could have down without her POV, which only made her appear pathetic. I had no sympathy for her because even after meeting Zee she was still hungry for her man. Silly silly girl.

I'm so happy to know that this series will continue and that I can expect more from my boy, Seth!!
