Review: This is the End, Baby

This is the End, Baby This is the End, Baby by K. Webster
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm going to keep this brief because this story was short and I refuse to spoil this brilliant conclusion for the rest of you.

Albert Einstein stated that the definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." This is a quote I repeat often in my life to myself and those I love. It's the quote that rang true through my mind the entire time I read this book.

Darkness. Holy crap, this book was short and yet it was packed full of darkness. So much happened and I can't wait for you to read all about it. I'm still finding it hard to let go of these characters. Who knew that when K. Webster introduced the first book of this series that not only would the villains redeem themselves, but that we would grow to love them? Don't even play yourself right now. I know I'm not the only one.

I took away one quote from this book because not only was it beautiful, but it spoke to me and set my heart at ease:

"The love is all inside. It's locked up but it seeps out through my cracks. This love belongs to him and our babies. One drip at a time might be all they get, but it's theirs. And there is so much more where that love came from. I just don't know how to make the holes bigger."

Now I'm gonna patiently wait for the spin-off.
