Review: Beastly Lights

Beastly Lights Beastly Lights by Theresa Jane
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I'm gonna keep this one short and sweet. Hopefully. Liam was a famous rock star who was extremely adept at manipulation Freya. He got her to be his maid, to move in with him, to pretend to date him, and to eventually be his real girlfriend. He was selfish, arrogant and self-entitled. But that was to be expected because he was rich and famous and a huge party lover and predominantly promiscuous. Freya helped to calm him but didn't feel like she got much out of the deal. She had a hard time accepting his stardom.

There's some character depth and an interesting plot. I just couldn't connect with the story. I didn't like Freya. She was immature, irrational, ungracious and ungrateful. All 3 stars go to Liam. He showed the most growth and I can appreciate how much the author put into his characterization. He was easy to like and I only wish that this book had more of his POV. Oh Davis was a sweetheart that I was happy to meet as well!
