    Review: Vein Of Love

Vein Of Love Vein Of Love by R. Scarlett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love the way VEIN OF LOVE was written. It was eloquent, evocative, and thought-provoking. Each progressive sequence brought me that much deeper into the paranormal realm created in this story. The world building was awesome and the idea of demons walking among us snagged me. Has me looking at people a little differently ;) And I kept trying to picture what Daemon eyes look like. C'mon Natalie, they're not real. Right?

Tensley was my bae. He WAS this story. He was just my type of a-hole. He was a demon forced to honor a 300 year old contract to wed a daemon, who turns out to be a young lady named Molly. In his world, a demon is not to hold affection. If their heart were to become whole, it would be ripped out, leaving them heartless and immoral. A lesson Tensley watched first hand with his older brother. But he can't help himself because Molly keeps pulling at him, drawing out emotions he's never had.

Molly was a tool. I wish she was real so I could punch her in the face. I really couldn't stand her. At all. She NEVER learned a lesson. EVER. And she was incredibly selfish and immature. She was sneaky, conniving and manipulative without a real clue as to what the heck she was doing. She had no real direction other than she wanted something to happen someway somehow. For such a 'good girl' she did a lot of bad things. And I'm pissed over the many ways she has hurt my poor baby, Tensley.

I'm not sure what book two will bring, but I'm hoping Tensley finally marks this girl and that when he does mark her, she grows a brain. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series and finding more reasons to fall for my boo!
