    Review: Passing Peter Parker

Passing Peter Parker Passing Peter Parker by J.D. Hollyfield
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Oh wow! This book was fantastic! J.D. Hollyfield packed one hell of a punch in just a few pages. This was the story of Gretchen, a 22 year old woman who tried to rebel, struck out on her own, and refused to admit defeat. When she hit rock bottom, she wasn't ready to cry uncle, and thankfully her big sister, Agnes, reached out to help her.

I had a real love/hate relationship with Gretchen and an awesome love/love one with Peter. Gretchen's thought process and behaviour were typical of the average 22 year old (immature) and it about drove me nuts and made me laugh at the same time. Peter seemed like a hot Clark Kent version of a science teacher. But hidden behind those glasses, the business casual attire, and the sweet, innocent smiles lurked a sexy AF dominant man, ready to reach Gretchen a few lessons. OMG, those less were freaking scorchingly erotic.

J.D. Hollyfield took some contemporary, smacked a whole hell of a lot of erotica to it, added some laughs, and created a charming blend of romance in this novella. I'm excited to see what she'll create next.
