My Review

If you're looking for a great suspenseful read, this may be the book for you.

The plot was amazing and had me hooked from the start. Marnie was a reforming 'criminal' and experienced hacker for Whitman Enterprises (WE), tasked with investigating delinquent accounts. Her latest project was Dane MacLain, a man who was determined to take down WE, which he believed was involved with his wife's murder. The more Marnie investigated him, the more she liked him. Somehow she discovered that WE was not the company she thought it was and that Dane was NOT a bad guy. She realized that WE was involved in Dane's wife's murder and that Dane was going to be killed due to his persistence, so she decided to help him by hacking into her boss's computer and stealing his files. Unfortunately those files were encrypted and she didn't take the code. The story revolves around breaking in to WE and stealing the files again, taking the code this time, and taking down the bad guys.

There was action, suspense, surprising betrayals, family, and love.

Would I read from this author again? Most definitely!
